Our next project
June 9, 2009 1:14 pm Here’s what we’re going to do next! I LOVE this shirt from Anthropologie.
It’s similar to the one I just did, but I love the checkers on this I know we can do this one- easily! So I got a men’s shirt today from the thrift store and I’ll get working on the tutorial soon!
I also found this great tuxedo shirt and I can’t wait to do something with it.
I also went to my local discount fabric store, Crossroad Fabrics and got these wonderful fabrics. They sell the BEST stuff for unbelievable prices. I got these three Vera Wang vegetable dyed cottons for $3.99/yard.
Then these cotton twills in great, bright colors for $5.99/yard.
And then!!! I looked over and saw this gold/peach/tan lacework that was TOO gorgeous to pass up. It’s Dior and was $8.99 /yard!! I am going to make a dress out of it at some point. The pictures don’t do it justice at all, but I can’t wait to work with it!
