White Beach Dresses
July 7, 2009 1:46 pmThese are the dresses that I made last week for the girlies. Emmy is always asking for the girls to wear all white in their photo sessions that she does with them so I decided to finally make something that worked. I used a white cotton for the shift dress and then a slightly varying color of white for the pleated neckline and hemline. I think they are so simple and beautiful.
Here’s a closeup of the neckline.
I gave them jars at the beach to collect their shells.

Thanks! I'm so glad you all like them! I might do a tutorial on them.. I've got a few different requests for some others so maybe when I'm ready to do another kids one I'll put it to a vote!

Wow, these dresses are gorgeous and what a beautiful family you have. I'm so impressed with the way you can make things without patterns – I would love to be able to do that!
