I'm excited to try this tutorial but I had a question. Do you use a seam ripper to take off the sleeves or do you just cut them off?

I tried this tutorial. I think you should add to make sure the shirt you use as a pattern is a similar fabric as the refashion shirt. I used a t as my pattern and didnt take into account the stretching it does across the chest(I am quite busty). Long story short–ruined my shirt
