Tank Top Makeover
August 23, 2009 1:45 pmI have a friend, who is pregnant, and asked me to vamp up a few tank tops and shirts for her. I’m going to be doing them throughout the week so I thought I’d post them. They are some ideas I came up with to doll up simple tops.
I added a bib front with a ruffle out of an Anna Maria Horner fabric that I love.
Simple and lovely.

So cute! How sweet of you to make her some pretty shirts to wear:) Its so hard to find cute and inexpensive things to wear when you are pregnant.
Looking forward to seeing the others this week as you make them!

I have loved what you have done with clothing to reuse what you have. I am 15 weeks pregnant and entering the phase of going through my maternity clothes to enjoy them again for another 6 months. (This is my second.) I came on your sight this morning to get some ideas of what I could do to revamp a few of my more boring items. I was thrilled to see your post and am looking forward to what you will have to show this week. Has anyone seen someone who shows you how to add a maternity panel to a pair of normal pants?

Thanks everyone!
Mary, I did the maternity panel to a lot of my pants when I was pregnant. I'm sure you could find a good tutorial out there. Good luck and thanks for following along!
