Shoulder Love

October 15, 2009 5:23 am

This is another article I saw in Lucky Magazine this month. It is all on shoulder embellishments. I love something simple with a bold statement, so I adore this look.

I also saw this dress that really inspired by the simplicity, but high impact of the shoulders.

So I made these!

I did them in torn silk so they have raw edges. I also put them on pins so you could move them around from shirt to shirt.

Or just use them as a pin.

I really like how you can put this on a black shirt and it makes for a really dressy look. I can’t wait to wear these!!AND- I made some for sale in my etsy store!

Oh those are so cute!! I wish I didn't have such broad shoulders, I would look nutty in those. I can only imagine how cute they are on you though!!

Okay, so you seriously need to stop doing all these great projects, it makes all of mine look so lame! You really do have an eye for chic and elegant looks. I pretty much am in love with every project you do. I too love just some embellishment on plain clothes. It lets you get tons more versatality from simple things and really extrends the wearability of stuff. Nice work!

I like your pretty interpretation more than the pot holder-like embellishment in the fashion photo!
