Friday Flea Market Finds
May 28, 2010 2:09 pmI was inspired by Dana at MADE’s post today about her thrifty finds. I go to out local Flea Market every Friday and always find lots of yummy things. I thought I’d start sharing my Friday finds with you to inspire you to go find your own goodies! (Thanks for the great idea, Dana!)
These were some of my finds from last week and today.
First off, all my lovely new gold jewelry! There is the large ‘A’ slip pendant necklace, a little baby bracelet that says, “Linda Lee’ (my favorite), A gold charm bracelet with the intials, “HM” and another ‘A’ pendant. Total- $10
Next up are two pairs of gloves I got today! They are both brand new vintage leather gloves. I LOVE wearing gloves in the cold weather because my hand get really stiff. So I was thrilled about these two pairs. For $5 total! And next is a Hobo International wallet, BRAND NEW (they retail for around $100), got this one for $8!
Every week the girls from Stripe get me these amazing vintage, gold buttons. I use them on clothes, bags, etc.. I have QUITE the collection going!
I got this vintage pink shirt last week. It’s gauzy and flowy and the perfect shade of pink. I have it here with a striped cardigan from Target.
Isn’t it sweet? It was $2.
I aslo get tons of fabric pieces and vintage clothes I re-use for material. I hope this inspires you to go out treasure hunting!

Oh wow. How fun! That shirt is just darling, I would wear that every day! And those starfish buttons?? I would probably sell my car for those! You are so lucky to have “girls” like that who bring you goodies!!

Such cute stuff and I love your blog! What flea market do you go to? I live in Utah and there are no good flea markets here. I’ll be in northern CA in August and would love to scope out a really good one. Any pointers?

I’m inspired to talk you out of it and sell it to me…the shirt that is! I need your help asap. I need a dress for my babies blessing day…I am still over weight and don’t know what to wear or do! HELP!
