Thrift Store Finds

For the kids:
The girls school uniform requires them to wavy navy cardigans so these are always a big find!
A few nice T’s.
A nice summer dress and a forever 21 skirt that I added an elastic waistband to and made into a kids skirt. I can’t believe an adult would actually fit into that!
For me:
I’m not normally drawn to floral prints but for some reason I really liked this dress. It was too short so I added that orange trim pieces on the bottom.
For my major find! Trina Turk shorts in my size! These were in brand new condition and I looked them up and they go for about $175!!
Finally, this vintage TV tray. So cheery!
Total for all these items- $16!

Great finds! Im headed out to my favorite thrift store today. I’ve on the hunt for a good pair of shorts too – hopefully I’ll have some luck!

great finds. My favorite is the dress and shorts. Adding the piece of fabric to the dress is a fabulous idea, now I’m kind regretting not buying the $1 Abercrombie isty bitsy short skirt at the thrift store, I could have done the same thing to lengthen the skirt.

Great finds! I find the thrift store to be rather pricey (all dresses are $16) where I live so I end up finding things cheaper on sale. I do love the thrill of the hunt though!

You are so lucky to have a thrift store with such cheap prices! Our cheapest is $5 an item or more, and a really lucky find would be $3. Is it a bigger chain or a local store?
PS: I love your alterations! I wish I was that good!
