Holy Cow! Thank you so much for all your encouraging comments. You guys made my month with all the sweet things you said! Thank you for all the love. I got teary last night reading all the lovely things you wrote on my website and Stripe’s facebook page. You have no idea how much it’s meant to me :)

I got it from Stripe! I love the lace like detail at the neckline and the back.

I also love the vintage look of the flowers.

And it was VERY reasonable (less money then most of my items:))

I had so much fun lounging outside today. It was the sweetest day.

I decided to let loose…

… let my hair down and act like a kid again. I enjoyed the moment much.

Daily Wear 3.10.10- and My new Pleated Purse

Hello Wednesday!  On the daily wear menu today is this. A new hand dyed T-shirt dress from my new line. (More on these soon) I’m wearing a croppped Anthropologie jacket, jeans and my grey Frye Paige boots.

Also, new to my etsy store today is my Pleated Purse. I was really inspired by some things I had seen on the runway and create a bag full of different sized pleats. It took me 5 1/2 hours to make! (hence the price :) )But, to date, it’s my favorite creation. I wore it out this week and already got 2 orders from people that saw it!!

It has a sweet  little floral pom-pom, too.

It also has 4 vintage buttons on the bottom of each handle. It’s fully customizable in any color or fabric. See more photos in my store!

Daily Wear 3.7.10

Happy Sunday to you all! The sun has broken through and I’m really enjoying the day!  I thought if I smiled I’d feel less awkward in my pictures. :) Here’s today’s outfit.

What I’m wearing:

Purple dress that I made. I told you I wear it a lot. :)

Grey J. Crew cardigan. Hand me down from my sister.

Black American Apparel leggings

Black Frye  Paige boots (I didn’t pay that much for them. I got them used on ebay. It’s one of my favorite fashion tricks. I’ll buy really high quality things that are slightly used on ebay for so  much cheaper!!)

My Coco Bijou Bangles and a Sergio Gutierrez bracelet from my husband for my first Mother’s Day

Daily Wear- Tryin’ it out

Ok, I’ve gotten lots of requests to do outfit posts. I’ve never done it because I feel a little silly doing them, myself. Don’t get me wrong, I, personally, love those blogs where people post what they’re wearing that day. It gives great ideas, inspiration, laughs when you think to yourself, “I would NEVER wear that!”. So I thought I’d give it a shot. It makes me nervous. I’m awkward in front of the camera(hence I always have my sisters model for me). But we’ll try it out.

Here’s my causal and classic outfit perfect for a mellow Saturday.

Old Seven jeans that are faded and torn. Rolled up for extra casual look.

Classic  J.Crew white blouse, with my sleeves rolled up. I always roll my sleeves up. I have MONKEY arms so everything is short on me. And I like the way it looks.

-Black ballet flats from Urban Outfitters

-7 Gold bangles from CocoBijou

I think this in an outfit that will never go out of style. And I’m cozy :)
