Recycled T-shirt Clutch Tutorial
August 13, 2010 7:53 amI used this clutch tutorial for the Delish issue I was a part of. But I wanted to re-share it here on my blog because it’s one of my favorite clutches to use and it’s a totally “green” project.
Grab an old or new t-shirt. I thought this newsprint one would be cool.
Cut the part that you want to use for the front of your clutch into randomly sized strips.

Pick Out My New Glasses!
August 12, 2010 5:50 pmWell! After my embarrassing confession about my broken glasses- let me remind you-
Just Eyewear contacted me and asked if I’d like a new pair of glasses!! And I said Y-E-S!
But I need help. I’m going to let YOU choose my glasses. I love and trust you all that much. 
I chose three looks I liked and I want you to tell me which one’s I should get.
Look one: Full frame, but rounded.
Just Eyewear has these ones that are similar.

Glasses
August 10, 2010 2:05 pmI wear glasses when I work on the computer and when I sew. Here I am today wearing them. They’re not the most flattering glasses on me.
But I wanted to show you what makes them even more unflattering. I’m missing the side of them. The kids broke them and they’re unfixable. And I don’t care. They look ridiculous, they fall off my head and I still wear them.
We all let ourselves go in one way or another, I suppose. This is one of my ways.
(and HOW creepy is that last photo! Geez…)

More Boot Love- SOLD
August 9, 2010 1:09 pmSince my last “sharing the boot love” was so successful, I thought I’d give it another go. I found these and fell in love with them. They had some weird strappys all over them so I took them off and now they are just perfect, slouchy, cognac leather boots.
I love the wooden heel and the rivet detail around the sole.
They look gorgeous with jeans.
