My Favorite Children’s Books

Probably my favorite activity with the girls is reading time. Here are a few of my all time favorite books.
I will Hold You Till You Sleep by Linda Zuckerman
Tears.
Everytime.
I am a Little Monkey by Francois Crozat. An animal favorite of ours. We pretend to be monkeys when we read it.
This is Cinderella by Cynthia Rylant.
It’s a very dramatic account…
…with some of the most gorgeous illustrations by Mary Blair. I want an entire room based around these illustrations.
If you have girls or if you yourself have sister you need this book.
Goregous, classic works of art paired with lovely verses.
Nothing screams fall to me more then The Ox Cart Man by Donald Hall.
There is something so calming reading about a man and his family working hard to prepare their supplies to go sell in town.
Isabelle and the Angel, by Thierry magnier is about a pig and an angel in a museum.
Maybe three of my favorite things.
All the Places to Love by Patricia MacLachlan. What to say?
Whenever I read it it makes me want to move into the middle of the country and start a farm.
Read together.
