The Aria Dress

I really wanted to capture the movement of this dress in the photo shoot.
I gotta say, my sister rocked that shoot! I was so impressed with her!
Here are some plain old closeups of the dress. I made this out of white, soft jersey than hand painted it with tea. I wanted it to have a barely there color.
It also has pockets.
The top has a slimming middle detail with rouching at the bodice.
The back has this detail.
I. Love. This. Dress.

Striped Zipper Back Tunic
June 19, 2010 8:06 amI’ve been having fun with the zipper back dresses so I made this tunic with some striped fabric. I angled the stripes in to make it a little more interesting. I’ve always loved that chevron stripe look!
I formed the pattern on my dress form.
Then in the back I did another large zipper down the back, like this dress.

The Flea Market Frock
April 30, 2010 6:10 amIntroducing you to my Flea Market Frock. It’s one of my new designs for summer.
It’s shown here in cream voile.
It’s the perfect dress for any body type. It has broader shoulders, a higher cut neckline, a shirred elastic waistband and cutout pockets.
I also have it in hand dyed navy...
…and charcoal grey.
Its’ so lovely as a spring/summer dress and it’s extremely versatile because you can wear it with leggings or jeans. Go check out a lot more pictures in my etsy store! It’s stocked with MANY new items!!
I’m even thinking about how I’m going to style it for the fall! With a long sleeve shirt under it, a big belted cardigan, tights and knee high boots… it’s a year round dress! I’ve got two other colors of it coming soon!
