A Good Friend is Hard to Find

In other news, the girls have been sick with pneumonia for the past 12 days. They are just feeling much better now! So I apologize for the slow posting. We have just been down for the count. Being sick makes you so grateful for good health!

Photo Shoot With Raya Carlisle

I had the greatest privilege to have my work shot by Raya Carlisle. She is an incredibly talented photographer out of Southern California. We actually went to high school together. She took some amazing photographs this summer and I’m so proud to share them with you. My friend, Leda, did a perfect job modeling for me . Check out Raya’s beautiful and inspiring blog.

Fall Fashion Part 4

Here are my final looks from the Fall Fashion edition of The Good Times photoshoot that I styled and photographe. These are, by far, my favroites.

Fall Fashion- Part 3

You’ve all seen my long skirt before. We used it for the shoot for an evening look. I paired it with a classic button up blouse. It’s one more reason why I love a great white blouse. It can be so casual with jeans or dress up a high waisted skirt.

I’m sorry. There’s a lot of pictures. I just couldn’t decide which ones to show you all! I loved them all. These are the kind of pictures that make me want that outfit and make me want to be wherever she is and do whatever she’s doing.

This one was in the magazine but it was in black and white so it lost it’s great feel.

Check out Nuala‘s cuff. She gets her leather cuffs then adds vintage pieces on them. It’s one of my favorite accessories.

The Good Times Fall Fashion Edition

First off, I was MAJORLY hacked in to. So I’m so sorry for any inconveniences. Everything should be up and running now.

I was really honored when The Good Times asked me to style and photograph their fall fashion edition that hits the stands today. There is a mini version online, but I really wanted to share my favorite pictures with you from the day. Here are the first looks for each model.

Clare is wearing the Lex nautical sweatshirt (almost available for sale), Good Society jeans, misc. sweater, Donni Charm scarf, August Mae ring Nuala leather bag and Nuala leather wrapped wool socks (my FAVORITE thing for fall) and vintage boots.

Here’s a closeup of the socks. You will be seeing these on me every day.

I put all these together because it’s a multi-layered look that can be changed easily and the grey and cream to me are so classic and chic. I also like this look but I think it can appeal to any age group.

For Dez, I wanted to carry in the military theme that’s still pushing strong and pair it with a sweet floral print. She’s wearing a floral print dress from Stripe, misc. military jacket, August Mae Ring, Good Society jeans, Blank Verse earrings and vintage heels.
