Love Letter Pillow
November 24, 2009 11:01 amI got this idea from a pillow I saw at Pottery Barn. It’s a love letter pillow. We’re big note and letter writers in this family so I loved the idea of having a specific place you could leave each other little notes. I made one for our bed in similar tones of our bedding.
You really can’t see this fabric, but it’s a gold dusted linen that’s gorgeous! If you don’t have an embroidery feature, you could cut out the letters in a different fabric or felt!

You can leave words of love or encouragement for a sweet surprise.
I think these would make a wonderful gift!

Sweater Pillow Tutorial
June 11, 2009 4:03 pmHere’s a great and easy tutoiral to make a knit sweater pillow. I had seen a bunch of these at different stores but they were so expensive. But sewing on knit always daunted me. But I tried it and, I’m telling you, it’s easy! I think it’s a great way to take a sweater of someone you love and memorialize them or an old sweater of your childs that you just can’t give away. So here’s what we’re going to do. Get whichever sweater you want.
Cut off the sleeves and any excess you may need to to create straight lines all the way around.
Turn the sweater inside out and pin it ALL the way around. We are going to sew all four sides shut because we will just stuff it from the front buttons. After pinning, Sew all four sides.
Here’s the first one I did that’s on my bed.
I hope you all like this project! Let me know what you think!
