A Few New Designs

February 3, 2010 5:13 pm

Here are a few new shirts that I did that sold before I put them in the shop.  I didn’t get to photograph my sister in them so they don’t show as well :( , but I still wanted to share them with you.

This one was a various tones of purple, hand dyed. I love the artistic look of it. I’m working on more like these.

This one was black with stripes sewn on on and three gentleman’s buttons. I put the stripes around the back, too.

This is my interpretive heart top. I really *heart* this top.

Back up in the shop are these two tops!

More new things in the etsy shop this week. Thanks for all your support!!

Which ones are your favorites?

Don’t forget to enter the Giveaway for this amazing necklace!

Pratia Tutorial coming VERY SOON! I’ve been working hard on it!!!

To the Fair Tops

September 21, 2009 2:36 pm

This weekend was our county fair. On a whim, I made these shirts for the girls the day before. Of course, I forgot my camera so these are pictures of the girls the morning after the fair. ALL faired out!(All of these pictures were edited, then they got reverted back and I was too lazy to re-edit them, so please excuse the poor quality)
Here’s sweet, Ava. Hers had an aqua top.

With matching hem tape.

Isabel’s was coral. For the back, I did an open back with a leather tie. It’s what I had around and it was so “country” looking. I really liked it.

Ava’s Back…

I did a slight gather at the shoulders…

…with a 3/4 length sleeve. I also (although hard to tell) did a fold over detail at the bottom of the sleeves.

Here’s Zach, doing a puzzle with the girls, very uninterested in being on my blog.

My little, Gigi, in brown.
Ava’s “funny” face…(and by the way, look at the skirt she wore with this! She’s so hodge-podge)

…and we end the shoot like this. Thank goodness fairs only come once a year.
